This schedule shows the schedule for first-time home-buyer
seminars and MPDU orientation sessions for the
moderately-priced dwelling unit program for new buyers. These are
different classes. They are both free. HCI recommends first time
buyers take the FTHB class first, and then the MPDU orientation, if the home
buyer intends to apply for the MPDU program.
Home buyers who want to
participate in the MPDU program must take both the first-time
home-buyer (FTHB) class and MPDU orientation class.
Home buyers who do not plan to participate in the MPDU program only need to
take the first-time home-buyer (FTHB) class.
Registration for the FTHB class closes
when the number of registrants reaches the room limit. People who are not
registered will be allowed to attend only if enough seats are available
after those who are registered have signed in.
Only one member of
the household needs to take the FTHB class but HCI encourages as many
members of the household to attend as possible.
All classes are held at the
County Council Building located at 100 Maryland Avenue
in Rockville. There is free parking
in the garage adjacent to and behind the County Council Building. Click here for site
